Work can be a real pain in the neck! Do you feel stiff, irritated, and even headachy at the end of a long workday? Neck pain is commonly related to poor posture, and if you sit for eight plus hours a day, looking down at a computer, you’re bound to have poor alignment. According to the CDC, up to 70% of adults may experience neck pain at some point in their lifetime, and some studies suggest that women may be affected more often than men. While most neck pain tends to subside on its own, it can also recur. Unfortunately, some studies suggest that in about 1 in 10 people with recurring neck pain, the pain can become chronic. The good news is that Coach Rob is here to teach you a few of his favorite exercises that just may help to soothe your neck pain or even prevent it before it begins. The best part is you can do these exercises all without getting up from your desk! Of course, always consult your doctor before beginning this or any kind of exercise routine.
